The wine

Sometimes mistakes turn into big hits. The name "Ettamiano" comes from an error by the clerk of the late nineteenth century who registered in this imaginative and unusual way the grandfather of President Maci, progenitor of a family of winemakers and passionate winemakers. A tribute to history and tradition, as well as the historic Primitivo grape, whose cluster is sparse, with a high concentration of sugars in the grapes which then explodes in the bottle. The carefully selected grapes were first thinned and harvested late, harvested manually in plateaux and left to dry in our fruit cellar. Ettamiano is aged for 9 months in barriques, to enhance its tannins and extraordinary elegance.

Intense red wine with cardinal highlights. Arouses an important wealth of aromas on the nose: jam and fruit in alcohol, light roasting and aromas of vanilla and chocolate. Warm, soft, with perfectly balanced fruit tannins, which returns to the palate with a finish of almonds and walnuts. Brain and busy wine, it gives depth and elegance.
