The wine

Valpolicella Classico Superiore from the Zenato cellars is an Italian red wine from the Veneto region. The area is the same as that of the famous Amarone, typical for the production of red wines with excellent structure and great aromatic breadth.

The Zenato family is one of the most historic and experienced in the area, which embraces the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda and ends in the Verona Valpolicella. It is no coincidence that the Zenato winery is renowned for its exceptional Amarone della Valpolicella and top-trending Valpolicella Ripasso Ripassa, as well as classic Garda wines such as Chiaretto.

With this label Zenato offers a wine with a dry but also smooth taste, thanks to the refinement in oak barrels for about a year. A classic wine for the winery and the territory, but at the same time with a modern style and intriguing drinkability. All this at a sensational price for a Valpolicella DOC wine!

Wine critics reviewsReviews by Suckling

Pleasant nose of ripe plums, together with hints of fresh cherries, black pepper, aromatic herbs and prunes. Full-to medium-bodied with a good bead of sweet fruit, riding firm, silky tannins. Long, controlled and well-balanced finish. Drink or hold.
