A true gem

This is a gem from Montsan. Deep red color, almost violet. The nose is quite flat. But the taste! It starts as a French-style classic wine, then continues with berries, then with herbs, and finishes with sweeter notes. Naturally, the palette is also influenced by the food. I tried this eine with beef ropa vieja style dish.
