Vino fresco, afrutado, con toques de crianza en roble. Muy equilibrado

Se trata de un vino joven, con crianza corta en barrica de roble que muestra un intenso sabor a frutos del bosque conjugado con el característico toque a madera. Buen vino para conjugar con platos de guisos ligeros sin que necesariamente tengamos que acudir a carnes rojas o asados. Puede conjugarse perfectamente con fiambres de calidad o pescados. Sabor que perdura en boca y se hace peculiar y agradable gracias a la variedad de uva característica de la zona. Un buen vino para los que disfrutan de sabores suaves e intensos al mismo tiempo.

Quality wine at a bargain price

Recently bought 14 bottles of this following reading the description on the website. I usually stick to Parker's recommendations and whilst this was not one, Parker rated it highly in the description. I was not disappointed, even the heavy bottle and label screamed quality. The taste is very subtle and smooth, with its storage in oak barrels providing a further smokiness. At just over €5 a bottle its an absolute bargain, I believe that you would struggle to find a better wine at this price.

Ich bin kein echter Weinkenner und bewerte einfach nach meinem Geschmack. Der Hecula Monastrell 2016 schmeckt mir nicht ganz so gut wie seine Vorgänger aus den Jahren ab 2011. Dennoch o.k.

Forward and honest

A full clean example of this grape variety. As far as I can tell it is un-oaked and yet is not at all harsh. Good fruit and a rounded feel in the mouth, with a strong finish. Good value.
