Albahra Garnacha Tintorera

Great value

Envínateis one of may favourite new-wave Spanish producers. In theory Albahra is their most basic wine, but many other producers would kill to obtain this quality. The fruit is sensational, but there is no hint of over-extraction. The balance is impecable and the brightness impressive. I just hope Vinissimus brings back the Albahra elder brothers which are truly wonderful, some of them veritable masterpieces.

Ligeramente sobrevalorado

Vino cómodo para tomar con entrantes debido a los matices fácilmente identificables de la Garnacha Tintorera, pero del que no podemos esperar algo mas de cara su disfrute como acompañante de comidas o cenas que requieran algo mas de redondez o buen final. Por ello, en mi opinión a algo elevado de precio para un vino de estas características, aunque agradable como acompañante de entrantes o tapas.

Quite a bargain

Incredible nose of red berries, flowers, anise and fresh herbs. On the palate it is extremely fresh and vibrant. Light to medium bodied with good depth, nice tannins and sappy acidity. This is great stuff at any price, but selling at EUR 10 it's amazing.

otra garnacha tintorera de la zona de Almansa, no conozco más bodegas y de tanta calidad para esta variedad de capa alta con vinos sabrosisimos que esta comarca de Albacete: alaya tierra, bodegas Piqueras y por supuesto este Albahara tan reconocido

Tasty as always

For an entry wine this is truly superb, but the most Envinate wines are. The combination of Alicante Bouschet and Moravia Agria works beautiful. The wine is not as complex as its elder siblings but is delicious nonetheless.
