Both wines from 2018 showed very fresh and young, younger than you'd have anticipated. The 2018 El Terroir follows the path of previous vintages and is a Garnacha selection of their organic and biodynamically farmed plots (but not certified), fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in barrel for 18 months. It's clean and aromatic and has herbal freshness, a certain leafiness that even makes me think of Mencía. The oak is neatly integrated and folded into the wine, which comes through as balanced and elegant, with a Mediterranean twist that is characteristic from San Martín. It has a medium to full-bodied palate with very fine, chalky tannins. 24,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2022.
La garnacha en este vino alcanza su mayor expresión de fuerza y delicadeza maravillosamente combinadas. Todo tipo de matices se abren en un primer momento para dar lugar a un refinado bouque que se mantendrá largamente , sin exceso pero en constante y mantenido nivel. Excepcional.

Fresco
El Terroir es la garnacha fresca y fragante de Domaines Lupier. Sus uvas provienen de cerca de una docena de parcelas de garnachas viejas plantadas a 500 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Se trata de un tinto de cuerpo medio y elegantes taninos, decorado de recuerdos especiados y notas de humo. Quizás sea el tacto su mayor virtud, pues su textura es sedosa y amable, convirtiéndolo en un vino fácil de beber pero también complejo y redondo. Sin duda uno de los mejores tintos de Navarra, cremoso, distinguido y muy largo que ha sorprendido y sorprenderá a muchos.

Very tasty but rather unexciting
This was a tasty Grenache, with intriguing aromas of cured bacon behind the enticing but rather commonplace bramble and dark fruit base. There was little red fruit brightness to break through the plums and damsons, but the bacon aromas where replicated on the palate to good effect. Having said that, the wine is very well made, substantial without being too sweet, well-balanced and thoroughly enjoyable, but lacks the excitement of the Garnachas from Gredos.

La lingua della terra
Una garnacha di carattere: le vecchissime viti esprimono una concentrazione di succo che nulla toglie alla sottigliezza degli aromi, per una definizione allo stesso tempo elegante e spiccatamente ancorata nel territorio, con quell'amaricante finale che parla la lingua della terra.

Muy buena garnacha Navarra
Buena relación calidad precio placer de este vino tinto Navarro, combina bien con carnes, incluso como vino de meditación. Volveremos a comprarlo.
